If you think you would like to try Barrier Repair always try a sample first. This will enable you to see if the product is going to suit your skin. If all is well, and your skin is quite normal - without any dryness or dehydration, then you should be fine to use Barrier Repair on its own after cleansing and toning. If your skin is dry or dehydrated, then you will need to use one of our Dermalogica Moisturisers as well. You should cleanse, tone, apply Barrier Repair then a suitable moisturiser. If your skin is very aggravated and irritated, then you can make a sandwich effect by applying Barrier Repair followed by your moisturiser and then Barrier Repair again over the top, to give your skin optimum soothing, healing and protection. If this feels too much during the day, and if you also want to wear make-up, then just use the sandwich effect in the evening when your skin has got all night to let the products do their work. It is important that you still try to use Barrier Repair in the morning as well, because your skin will need the protective and healing benefits during the day.
In desperation after trying absolutely everything on my sensitive sore neck and chest I've discovered the magic Barrier Repair, and I'll never use anything else, my skin is much calmer, the irritations are 90% improved after only 4 days and I'm actually sleeping and not scratching. Thank you thank you thank you I'm human again.
